The Columbia Group (TCG) is a subcontractor to one of the Army Contracting Agency awarded Field & Installation Readiness Support Team (FIRST) prime contractors, VSE Corporation. FIRST, awarded to a total of 16 large businesses (unrestricted open competition) and 18 small businesses (restricted), is a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Contract that provides innovative and responsive logistics support to meet the evolving needs of the warfighters. FIRST provides functional and programmatic services to the U.S. Army Forces Command, the Installation Management Command, the First U.S. Army, and the U.S. Army Reserve Command. FIRST offers a one-stop contract for field and installation level logistics that includes all core field and installation-level logistics functions.
