The Columbia Group provides Medical Logistics Liaison Officers to the United States Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA) to serve as forward site coordinators for medical life cycle management. We coordinate with U.S. Army Medical Command’s combat developers and other command level offices in the development of these documents. Our personnel serve as members of technical review panels, developing procurement and fielding concepts and strategies for medical equipment systems. Our medical support personnel also research, analyze and evaluate federal and civilian regulations and policies regarding medical equipment issues, complaints, safety alerts and equipment recalls and prepare and draft documents with discussion papers and proposed courses of action.
