Jason Nemeth, Director Financial Management Services

Jason Nemeth has oversight for The Columbia Group's Financial Management Services group.

During the last 15 years, Mr. Nemeth has evolved into a widely utilized resource on the entire Budget execution process for the Department of the Navy and the Defense Finance and Accounting Service. He has provided support for NAVSEA activities such as PEO-SUB, PEO-MIW, NUWC and NSWC activities, NAVSEA-HQ, Navy activities including the Office of Naval Research and the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery as well as several DFAS sites.

Jason Nemeth is the The Columbia Group's Subject Matter Expert for regulations and systems involved with the Budget execution process. His knowledge includes familiarity with DOD policies, such as the DOD Financial Management Regulations, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations, and DFAS policies and procedures including DFAS Columbus Desk Procedures. He also has extensive knowledge of transaction processing in the following systems, MOCAS, STARS One-Pay, CERPS, DCAS, STARS-HCM, STARS-FL, and COBRA. Mr. Nemeth has participated in numerous DOD Integrated Product Teams to identify and correct systemic issues creating financial problems. Additionally, his strong system and accounting knowledge are utilized in generating ad-hoc queries from STARS-HCM/FL and MOCAS databases from the Query Management Facility in SQL as well as data retrieval from the CA-VIEW report system. He also provides assistance to the TCG COBRA team in process testing and answering user questions.
