Norman Welsch, Chief Financial Officer
Norman Welsch was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of TCG in March, 2009. He has more than 25 years of financial management and executive leadership experience with fast-growth technology and government contracting firms. His background includes operational CFO roles with NASDAQ and NYSE companies, as well as strategic leadership roles in public, private and venture backed equity financings and M&A transactions.
Before joining TCG, Mr. Welsch was Sr. VP and CFO of Secure Data In Motion, Inc., a private equity-backed enterprise software and solutions company, where he played a key role in positioning and successfully executing its sale to a large technology firm. From 2005 to 2007, Mr. Welsch was the CFO of NextiraOne Federal, LLC, a portfolio company of Platinum Equity, LLC, where he was instrumental in completing the sale of the company and its subsequent integration as an SEC-compliant division of Black Box Corporation.
Prior to 2005, Mr. Welsch held CFO positions for various public and private software, systems integration, and services companies serving enterprise and government customers, including Infodata Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: INFD), Objective Interface Systems, Inc., Netrix Corporation (NASDAQ: NTRX), and DynCorp/CBIS-Federal, Inc.. Mr. Welsch began his career in staff and auditing positions for a regional public accounting firm, and later held various financial management positions at ManTech International Corporation. He served in the U.S. Army and is a Vietnam-era veteran.
