Paul A. Brygider, VP Operational Logistics Services

Mr. Brygider has 26 years of progressive achievements in multi-functional logistics, leading to strategic level leadership positions. He has recent experience as the Chief of Staff, Joint Staff J-4, with participation in Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. He has vast experience in Focused Logistics efforts at the DoD, Joint and service levels. He is a leader with demonstrated record of highly effective transformational initiatives and successes leading to Defense Department wide change.

Mr. Brygider served as Chief of Staff and principal advisor to the senior military logistician in the Department of Defense. He provided daily oversight for Joint Logistic matters regarding distribution of commodities, mobilization, and strategic mobility issues with decisions that had direct impact on the execution and operational readiness of U.S. Forces worldwide. Mr. Brygider oversaw logistics issues which were brought before interagency-level decision making bodies at the Secretary of Defense and Chairman, Joint Chiefs level. Regarding Marine Corps matters, Mr. Brygider served as part of the Marine Corps first Strategic Initiatives Group (SIG) at HQMC, Plans, Policies and Operations (PP&O).

Previously, he served as the Military Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of the Navy with oversight on Housing Privatization issues, Base Realignment and Closure projects, and Environmental issues impacting the Department of the Navy. He worked closely with Congress and City Governments to negotiate closure agreements under BRAC.

Mr. Brygider also served as a Program Manager for U.S. Marine Corps, Ground Prepositioning Program, HQMC, Plans, Policies and Operations (PP&O). He moved program from near termination to become an integral part of the U.S. Marine Corps equipment sourcing strategy for Global Operations. He brokered several Bi-Lateral Agreements with Government of Norway (GON) to allow for U.S. out of area use of program assets while GON maintained Operations and Maintenance costs.

Mr. Brygider also commanded one of several initial entry force units of the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Special Operations Capable, during the Kosovo Campaign. He was responsible for multi-functional Logistics operations in Albania, Macedonia and Kosovo, and directed Civil Military Operations Center in U.S. Sector coordinating in excess of 50 Non Governmental Organizations (NGO) Operations during commencement of Operations in Kosovo. He brokered numerous multi-national arrangements between opposing factions and NGO community. Mr. Brygider also directed the Civil Military Operations Center (CMOC) during the 1999 Turkish Earthquake coordinating U.S. Embassy, US Military, and USAID efforts for 1 million displaced persons.

Mr. Brygider received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from East Stroudsburg University. He earned a Master of Science degree in Military Science from Marine Corps University and a Master of Science in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
