Established in January 1991, Applied Marine Technology (AMTI) is a service-disabled veteran-owned small business providing quality technical services in the areas of homeland security, training and field exercises, acquisition and program management, C4I, surveillance, and visual communications. Headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia, the company has four main satellite offices across the United States, and maintains staff at nearly 20 additional client locations in this country and abroad.

AMTI facilities are equipped with STU-III secure communication equipment and are certified for storage of SECRET material, and they can support discussions up to the TOP SECRET level. AMTI has grown from a three-man organization focused on supporting Naval Special Warfare operations to a multi-faceted company with over 275 employees serving both public and private enterprises. While the client base has grown to include non-military and corporate customers, AMTI's work in support of Special Operations Forces and Homeland Security areas has increased to such an extent that they are now a provider of choice for professional and technical services to these communities.
