The materials engineering group of our Rosenblatt Ship Design Division consists of highly experienced engineers and chemists providing support to the U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, MSC, and the Marine Corps.  Our team has expertise in the areas of asset preservation through the application of protective coatings; thermal, anti-sweat, fire and acoustic insulations; adhesives; specialty textiles; asbestos replacement materials; hazardous materials control; development of test protocol and evaluation of new materials; new product shipboard testing and evaluation; document and drawing development; program management; and interface with ship repair, maintenance and construction facilities.
